The local eats were a delight! Just a hop away from the Pilrig, I hit the Brass Monkey for brilliant bites and enjoyed some tasty sushi from White Sushi. Plus, the check-in was smooth as butter and the room was clean and comfy. Great value for the dosh!

Easy access to a spacious room with a fridge. Instant coffee and tea available made settling in straightforward. The hotel’s central location puts you right in the thick of things, which is a plus for anyone wanting quick access to the local sights.
Dealing with entry issues was frustrating, needing to call for access multiple times to get into the building. The stair climbing required to reach the room isn’t ideal for anyone with mobility challenges, and I noted some noticeable wear in the hallways and linens that gave off a less-than-fresh vibe. The common amenities felt sparse, like a single broken chest of drawers and a toaster without bread, which suggested some lack of attention to detail. Noisy neighbors kept me up a bit during my stay, adding to an atmosphere reminiscent of student housing rather than a proper hotel.

Comfortable Stay with Great Amenities
I had a fantastic stay in the Budget Double Room, which was impeccably clean and equipped with a kettle, fridge, and toaster—everything I needed for a cozy retreat! The self check-in process was a breeze, and I loved the easy access to public transport for exploring the city. The staff was incredibly friendly, making the experience even more pleasant. it would be nice to have more hand soap available in the shared bathrooms.

The room was spotlessly clean and had all the essentials, like a kettle for coffee, making it feel like home. I loved the cozy lounge area and the peaceful garden, a perfect spot to unwind. Only downside was the late-night phone call from a staff member asking for help with the main door, which threw me off a bit. 😊

Great spot for a solo getaway!
Spent 7 nights in a sweet budget double room. Staff were super friendly, and I loved having a kettle and toaster in the room! It’s a 40-min stroll to the city center. Buses and trams are close. Just wish the shared bathrooms had better water pressure sometimes. Cleanliness was top-notch, though!

Great value for a family stay
We spent a night here and really liked the location. It was super close to the city center, which made exploring easy. Beds were comfy, but the linen looked a bit wrinkled. Staff was friendly, but couldn't help much, which was a bit of a bummer. Breakfast options were decent, too!

Great stay at a cozy spot!
Had a nice time here! The staff were super chill and always asked if we needed stuff like fresh towels. Our room was equipped with all the basics, fridge, kettle, and even a hairdryer. Cleaning was on point too! Only downside was the noise from the street, could be bothersome at night.

The beds offered comfort with clean linens, and the large TV provided a decent amount of entertainment. Two bathrooms with showers meant guests had the option to freshen up without long waits, despite minor scheduling conflicts.
The entrance felt quite dark and unkempt, which set a somewhat unsettling tone upon arrival. With only two toilets for multiple guests, the wait for a shower can become a hassle, especially during peak hours. The lack of a sink for kettle filling and the absence of coffee in the room felt like oversights in otherwise decent accommodation. thin walls made it challenging to ignore sounds from neighboring rooms, which could disrupt sleep.
